Is it ok to switch acne medicine day to day or week to week or should i just use the same one all the time

I am about to shave my face for like the second time with an electric razor and I was wondering if it can cause acne breakouts? I’ve shaved my chin for like two years now and none but I had a bad acne breakout a couple months ago and I do not want it back so jus wonder

What’s the best acne treatment regarding creams, solutions, and all of those things they anounce on TV. Are there PROS and CONS. Please answer if you have experince it yourself.

i like most teenagers breakout in pimples every once in a while. i have tried a bunch of different types of acne medicine and nothing seems to really work weel and fast. also i have tried clearasil maximum strength acne treatment cream and it made my face burn like i was scraping my face, and i got all swollen. so if anyone has a good product that works well i would like to hear it.

im 19 years old, and i started getting 3-4 pimples, 1-2 kida big zits on my face since march.
b4 i usually just got 2-4 bad pimples in a month or so.
and i haven’t really treated them, they usually leave on themselves and some more come back, its not that bad but i just dont like it when i look in the mirror.
newaysz…. does Vegetable Oil cause acne?
because my moms been using that oil for the past year, but im not sure. And it was also mentioned in this ezine article .
also, im pretty fat and dont do exercise that much (maybe once in a while)
i was just wondering if i started using a better oil (maybe olive or something) , exercised daily. drink lots of water and vegetables
will my acne and 1-2 dark brown spots disappear?
im sick of telling my mom to make an excuse when my friends come to my house

I just started using Clinique skin care because I heard many things about how gentle it is. I’ve never had any problems with acne medicine before, but the old one I had wasn’t working very well anymore so I decided to switch.
The clinique seems to be working very well - the acne on my neck has gone down noticably in the week since I started it, but directly after applying it my neck gets very red and itchy. It goes away after a few hours, but it’s so distracting I’ve stopped the night treatment because it was keeping me from getting to sleep.
Is this an allergic reaction? Or is it a natural reaction to the medicine? I’ve never had an allergy before, and the red itchiness goes away on its own. Plus, the treatment is working really well and I don’t want to the acne to come back. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i break out in the chin area alot.
and everytime i buy some product, it starts clearing my skin, then it stops, and i break out again..
why is this?

I’m 17. I have tried the typical topical treatments for acne (proactive, and other creams) and oral antibiotics (monocycline, solodyn). Nothing really seems to work… and my acne leaves behind little red scars (without depth). I don’t think I have a SEVERE case of acne but would definetely like to get rid of it. Does anyone know about acutain/acutane? has taken it? if so please share some info about it or any other treatments that have worked for you.

I’ve heard Accutane is the closest to a cure for acne. My acne isn’t severe enough for accutane, but its quite bad and I feel I need something powerful and effective.
What is the next strongest/effective treatment after accutane?
