When you are starting to use a new acne medicine does it at first make your face break out and then does it start to clear it up or is that not normal to have your face really break out after starting to use an acne med.?

I’m using differin and it works. Most people have to wait 2 months to clear it up. Your face will break out the first two weeks or so. But it’s really worth it after.
The acne medicine contains retinoic acid which does that your skin will look worse before.
